Abstract

Proximal fibular epiphysis is the least injured long bone epiphysis. There are only seven cases reported in the literature as case studies. All other cases are described as fractures associated with tibial fractures. We present a unique case of isolated fracture of proximal fibular epiphysis in a 16-year-old boy, sustained during soccer play.
