naslovnica Paediatria Croatica volumen 69 broj 4 2025

The fourth issue of Paediatria Croatica (2025) features six original scientific papers covering key pediatric topics. Articles explore the impact of smoking during pregnancy on breastfeeding duration, the use of bubble wrap to reduce hypothermia in preterm infants, and long-term neuromotor outcomes in term children with asymmetric intrauterine growth restriction. Two papers focus on scoliosis—one presents five cases of spinal osteoid osteoma, while the other examines its association with jaw malocclusion, anterior knee pain, and congenital skeletal deformities. Another study analyzes changes in breastfeeding prevalence over the past 27 years based on data from two pediatric clinics. The issue also includes a review on physical therapy modalities for children and a series of notable case reports, including rare conditions such as pleuropulmonary blastoma and neonatal chylopericardium.
