Supportive therapy of neurooncology patients is an important part of their overall medical treatment. Many aspects of supportive therapy are common to all paediatric oncology patients. In this paper we briefly review supportive treatment of important conditions that are specific to patients with brain tumours. This includes treatment of acute and chronic conditions resulting from local invasive tumour growth as well as from complications of primary tumour treatment.
