Transdisciplinary approach in pediatrics

The paper brings an overview of interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, and transdisciplinary models of work in pediatrics with a special focus on a holistic approach. As an example of a complex transdisciplinary program, presented is a campaign for obesity prevention in children developed by Salvea Policlinic in partnership with the Croatian Society for Social and Preventive Pediatrics, Croatian Pediatric Society, Faculty of Kinesiology at Zagreb University and the Japanese humanitarian organization ISC (Izumi Supporting Comity).
